Shakespeare in the park: Love’s Labors Lost

Sworn to study and fast for three years time, the King of Navarre and his court of scholarly bachelors are forced to choose between the contemplative pleasures of the mind and the passionate pleasures of the heart when the Princess of France and her ladies in waiting pay a fateful visit. Shakespeare’s outdoor comedy of manners is an ideal amusement for an idyllic summer afternoon.
