One of Twin Cities most award winning restaurants, La Belle Vie’s executive chef, Tim McKee, is the 2009 James Beard Award-winner for Best Chef Midwest. Fittingly you can expect this posh eatery, outfitted with high ceilings and crystal chandeliers, boasts a meticulously chosen wine list, but don’t let an evening go by without sampling a drink form their French-influenced cocktail menu. Among the standouts is the Parlez-Vous made with raspberry vodka, pineapple juice, cava, and topped with orange-passion fruit foam.
La Belle Vie was also named one of the 50 best restaurants in America by Gourmet magazine. As one might expect, La Belle Vie is not very budget friendly but they do have great specials in their lounge. Read all about it at City Pages.com.
