Northrop Summer Music Festival (NSMF), previously called Summer at Northrop, is a free, outdoor summer concert series featuring well-known local musicians and DJs, alongside U of M student bands as a way to support our University talent. We work with local musicians and an energetic Student Advisory Committee (a team of volunteer, motivated, music and PR savvy U of M students) to curate the series. The line-up is an eclectic taste of everything from hip-hop, dance music, singer-songwriter, folk, Latin, and spoken word.

The concert schedule includes:

Blackout presents Mark Mallman & DJ Bach

I will admit, I’m not the most “in-the-know” person for the Twin Cities music scene but Blackout sounds like a good show!

GET WEIRD & LOSE YOUR MIND WITH ————————————
Mr. Serious himself – Mark Mallman and DJ Bach

If you saw Mark Mallman’s Marathon IV, you would have witnessed telepathic powers befit for a member of the X-Men. If you don’t believe us, ask your older sister or something.

Since Gigamesh will be out wresting rattlesnakes in Mexico, we called upon Mr. Serious to perform a BLACKOUT Brainwave bash with the best dressed man since Beethoven, DJ Bach.
