Free outdoor concert: The Smarts

On July 27, 2012, The Smarts are playing at the Lake Harriet bandshell.  This show is outdoors, free and starts at 7:30pm!

The Smarts are a jazz-ish quartet that defies any easy category. As the house band for Minnesota Public Radio’s In The Loop, they wrote songs on everything from environmentalism to Internet love to winter solstice to Kim Jong Il. As current house band for St. Paul’s Sample Night Live variety show, you can watch the repertoire evolve every month.
