The MN Twins and the MN Vikings are nice enough to sponsor 500 tickets for Saturday’s MN Stars soccer game against the Tampa Bay Rowdies.  These games are a lot of fun, especially if you sit near the MN Dark Clouds supporters section.

Fans can reserve a pair of general admission tickets courtesy of the Twins and Vikings by calling the Stars front office at (763) 792-7355 or by emailing tickets@mnstarsfc.com. Fans will also be able to purchase additional tickets over the phone or by placing an order on mnstarsfctickets.com.

The MN Stars are in the finals!

So I realize that I didn’t mention anything about the Lynx’s success but I just happen to like soccer a lot more.  The MN Stars professional soccer team has done great in the playoffs and has made it to the finals!  See the first finals game next Saturday against the Fort Lauderdale Strikers at the National Sports Center.

If you go to the game, be sure to sit with the Dark Clouds supporters.  Watching that group is entertainment in itself.  Their motto is…

Sing loud. Sing often. Say mean things to goalkeepers.  Don’t know the words? Melody? Folow along with whoever near you is loudest.  There is nothing wrong with making up your own song.
