3rd Annual Fall Tweed Ride

Grab your bike and a dapper tweed outfit and head to the Minneapolis Tweed Ride on Saturday.  This event features meeting new people, getting some exercise, a free tour of the Hennepin History Museum and lots of drinks and eats.  Wearing tweed and riding an English 3-speed are most certainly not requirements, although they are very much encouraged!

The stops are subject to change, but are planned as follows:

#1  Hennepin History Museum at 2303 Third Avenue South

#2 Muddy Waters Bar and Eatery at 2933 Lyndale

#3 Brit’s Pub at 1110 Nicollet Mall

#4 The Stone Arch Bridge

#5 Town Hall Brewery at 1430 Washington Ave

#6 Nomad World Pub on 501 Cedar Avenue

Saturday, October 22, 2011
Hobbnobery begins at 6pm.  If you have to join the group late, check @MPLSTweedRide for location updates.

21+

Come to the Stone Arch Bridge this evening at 8:30pm and meet up for some twilight/night pics of the mighty Mississippi, St. Anthony Main, and the Minneapolis skyline.

No tripod?  No problem -the railings on the Stone Arch Bridge work well enough.

This event is free and all experience levels are welcome.

Meet at the end of the bridge near Mill City.  There is paid parking there or metered parking about a block away.
