May 25th marks the opening of the mini-golf course at the Science Museum!  Best of all, it’s only $5 per person between 5pm and 10pm and you don’t have to purchase museum admission!

The Big Back Yard includes a nine-hole EarthScapes miniature golf course that provides a fun—and challenging—way to learn how water moves from mountains to oceans and shapes the landscape along the way. With water hazards like you’ve never seen before, this 30,000 square-foot course demonstrates that rivers and streams are alive and ever-changing!

NE MPLS’s newest sandwich shop Nuff is offering $20 to spend for $10 with this Voice Daily Deal.  I’ve been to Nuff once and thought it was very good.  They focus largely on homemade sauces, extremely fresh bread and in-house slow cooked meats.  Give this place a shot!

You’ve got a relief map of Westeros in your cubicle at work, House of Stark’s grey direwolf is tattooed on your inner thigh, and you refer to your toilet as the Iron Throne. The televised works of George R. R. Martin have taken over your life, but now you’ve got a way to put your fantasy obsession to good use. Fire Cannot Kill A Quizmaster, Geeks Who Drink’s 1st all-Game of Thrones Quiz, is coming to venues all across the country on Saturday, June 8th.

Form your raiding party of six warriors and be sure to remember the $5 admission fee. Winners will bring home a cash prize of anywhere between $200 and $500 (depending on number of players), which ought to help cover your lawyer’s retainer when they nail your BitTorrenting ass.

Important note: this quiz will primarily cover every episode of HBO’s Game of Thrones up through the end of Season 3, but we will draw some — not a lot, but some — material from George R. R. Martin’s long, long, long books. Also, none of the material will spoil anything past Season 3.

Feel free to dress for the occasion– several locations will have a costume contest, though if you bring George W. Bush’s head on a spike you ought to prepare for a visit from the Secret Service.

Please review our FAQs below if you’re unsure how these quizzes are run.
