Free MN Sinfonia Concerts

The Minnesota Sinfonia presents “Father and Son” on March 4th at Johnson High School in Saint Paul, and March 5th at the Basilica of St. Mary in Minneapolis.

Itamar Zorman has been called “the violin whisperer” and is the 2011 winner of the International Tchaikovsky Competition. He will be performing selections by Henryk Wieniawski and Antonin Dvorak, as well as Hora, a piece written by his father, Moshe Zorman.  The concert will also feature the world premiere of Insouciant, by Jeremy Cochran, thanks to a grant from the McKnight Foundation.
