Free MN Sinfonia Concerts

Join the Minnesota Sinfonia in March for a concert featuring Alexander Fiterstein, performing Carl Maria von Weber’s Second Clarinet Concerto.  Known for his graceful phrasing and flawless technique, Fiterstein is the winner of several prestigious awards and grants including the 2009 Avery Fisher Career Grant Award. He has performed worldwide with several orchestras as well as his own ensemble – The Zimro Project. Fiterstein currently teaches clarinet at the University of Minnesota.

This concert will also include a new work by local composer Michael Chergosky.  The world premiere of Vielles Chansons de Nouvelle-France is made possible by a grant from the McKnight Foundation.
