Somethin’ Bluegrass

Gear up, ladies and gents, for a foot-stompin’, rip-roarin’, love-filled evening at Somethin’ Bluegrass! Enjoy the music of local bands THE ROE FAMILY SINGERS, POCAHONTAS COUNTY, and PRAIRIE FIRE LADY CHOIR, eat some delicious home-baked goods, and pool our resources to support efforts to defeat the marriage amendment this November. Suggested donation is $10, $25, or $50 but anything goes.  If you can only afford a few bucks, you are still more than welcome to show your support and have a good time!

What’s the marriage amendment, you ask?  In November, all of us will be voting on an amendment to our Minnesota constitution that would restrict the freedom to marry to opposite-sex couples. This amendment has passed in 30 states so far, and we need Minnesota to be the first to defeat it. WE NEED YOUR HELP! On September 12, please join us in musical celebration of all families in Minnesota. Bring your checkbook and contribute what you can to Minnesotans United for All Families, the coalition campaigning to defeat the amendment.
