Dark fairy tales and puppetry converge at lovesick Victor von Valentine’s Cabaret for the broken-hearted, loosely inspired by the life and stories of Hans Christian Andersen. Ice maidens, mermaids, sequins, blood, glitter, red dancing shoes, and a bottomless sea of whiskey; a meditation on isolation, creativity, transformation, and why sometimes it seems we only write with broken hearts. This performance is the world premier.
