The LowertownSantacon

Lowertown SantaCon is half spectacle, half pub crawl and half flash mob—that’s one and a half things!—in the chill Lowertown historic and arts district of Saint Paul, MN. Come as Santa, come as an elf or reindeer or get creative and come as a Santasaurus, a Hanukkah Chicken, a Kwanza Ham…you get the picture.

Lowertown SantaCon was voted “Best Twin Cities Pub Crawl” by City Pages, listed in City Pages’ “50 Reasons We Love Winter in Minnesota,” has been City Pages “A-List”-ed, Pioneer Press “Best of the Week”-ed, and shouted-out by DJ Mark Wheat from The Current and DJ Larry Englund from KFAI. We are a Midwestern media-accredited extravaganza of the human holiday spirit! Read the reviews here.

Lowertown SantaCon VIII features the Brass Messengers, emcee Dixie De’Lamour, Krampus, and a costumed cast of hundreds. Lowertown SantaCon is a real pub crawl (we have a set route) and it’s a really awesome pub crawl (we are led from pub to pub by a 10-member brass band, which transforms the night into a series of Santa-themed flash mobs throughout Lowertown, Saint Paul).

This is a community-organized event and Santa’s grace is boundless.

Expect no entrance fee, no wristbands, and no merchandise. Accept no impostors.
