A Neighborhood of Rain Gardens

Playing one night only at the Eastside Co-Op!

Everyone knows our waters are troubled. So what do we do about Minnesota’s impaired lakes, rivers, and watersheds? Hundreds of Powderhorn residents got together with Metro Blooms to create A Neighborhood of Raingardens.” Theirs is a bold attempt to clean up Powderhorn Lake, one yard at a time. Is it working? The film follows “A Neighborhood of Raingardens” from inception to fruition, illustrating the promises and problems of this exciting new citizen-centered approach to watershed management. A Neighborhood of Raingardens could change the way we think about our water, our homes, and our neighborhoods.
