Elevate’s Rock The Lawn & Free Yoga

Elevate Food Hall, downtown Minneapolis’ multi-functional hospitality center—food hall, conference center, lounge, caterer and event space—celebrates the return of warmer weather and its recent liquor license with special summer programming.

WHAT: Rock the Lawn

Aptly named Rock the Lawn, this after-work event features live music from Wain McFarlane & Dreadlock Cowboy. Accompanying the band’s fun, eclectic, Southern-tinged music will be a selection of patio bites from the Elevate Food Hall chefs, including smoked jalapeno cheddar poppers wrapped in applewood bacon, citrus-brined chicken wings with a Thai-chili glaze, smoked pork belly sliders, Mexican grilled corn with lime aioli and mini chocolate chip cookies. To drink, there will be pineapple-watermelon sangria, wine, cocktails and beer from local vendors, including Lake Monster Brewing and Inbound BrewCo. A carved ice luge will add to the festivities as will a variety of lawn games, including bocce ball, giant jenga, beanbag toss and ladder toss. Entry to Rock the Lawn is free.

WHEN: Friday, August 3, 4-8pm

WHAT: Free Outdoor Yoga

The outdoor fun at Elevate Food Hall continues the next day starting with a free, hour-long CorePower Yoga session on the lawn. During check-in, guests will receive one ticket to use towards one mimosa or mocktail of their choice. Attendees are asked to bring their own mat or towel. Following the class, guests can enjoy mocktails, mimosas, bananas, doughnuts, bottled water, cold brew coffee from Blackeye Roasting Co. and samples from Noosa Yoghurt. West End Chiropractic will be on hand to do mini massages and athletic taping. A DJ will provide music during yoga as well as for the after-class festivities.
