Free concert: The Rose Ensemble

httpv://youtu.be/26NaSiaFeNA

Journey across the rustic countryside of Umbria and Tuscany to the spectacular churches of Florence and Rome. This joyful program features centuries of hymns and motets, as well as early Italian-language spiritual songs and light-hearted insights into the fascinating life of “Il Poverello” or Saint Francis of Assisi. Don’t miss the ravishing sound of The Rose Ensemble’s acclaimed vocalists accompanied by Ginna Watson on vielle and harp in a performance of repertoire that won them first prize at November’s Tolosa International Choral Contest in Spain.

To learn more about this group, watch the above video.  I think this is a particularly noteworthy event and it’s amazing that it’s free!
