Hell’s Kitchen for Brunch: A review

We tried Hell’s Kitchen in Minneapolis today for brunch and it was a great experience.  Hell’s Kitchen has live music on Saturdays and Sundays from 9am to 1pm and the restaurant was quite packed during this time.  Unfortunately, we just missed the music.  We were able to take in the fun atmosphere and enjoy the locally sourced, often organic and made from scratch food.  Hell’s Kitchen has a great lunch/brunch menu with many unique items, such as Lemon Ricotta Hot Cakes and Ham & Pear Crisp Sandwich, as well as classic favorites.  There is something on the menu for everyone.  Hell’s Kitchen takes great pride in the quality of their food and almost all condiments are made from scratch, including ketchup, jams and their famous peanut butter. They also have fresh squeezed OJ and fresh lemonade.  They don’t skimp on quality for any item, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant.

Hell’s Kitchen has an upscale atmosphere but brunch is pretty casual.  So casual that even the servers wear their PJs to work.  Hell’s Kitchen is all about just having a good time.

Most entrees are in the $9-14 range, making Hell’s Kitchen a little expensive.  The quality food and live music make the splurge worth it.
