June 5 is Grand Old Day

Grand Old Day, St. Paul’s first rite of summer, takes place along the city’s historic Grand Avenue annually on the first Sunday in June. Grand Old Day is produced by the Grand Avenue Business Association as its annual fundraiser.  This event features lots of live music, art displays, run/walks and family fun.  Monies collected at the event go towards marketing the Avenue, annual events, business-to-business opportunities and avenue beautification.  Grand Old Day is free to attend. To gain admittance to the live music festival gardens a wristband/ticket is required and festival garden guests must be 21+. Wristbands are available for purchase for $8 at Wristband Booths located near each festival garden. Valid ID must be presented at the wristband booth at the time of purchase – no exceptions. Your wristband gets you into all 6 live music festival gardens during Grand Old Day.

Here’s a schedule of music and events.
