Learn to hunt for mushrooms

Edible or poisonous?

The Mississippi River Gorge Regional Park is a good place to find a variety of mushrooms and other fungi, and it’s conveniently located in the center of the metro area.  Early fall is a great time to hunt for mushrooms, so join tour leader Rosanne Healy for a fun morning.  Healy is an expert on Minnesota mushrooms and their relatives, with a special interest in truffles!  Beginner or experienced, you’ll enjoy the trip and learn about fascinating fungi.

My neighbor actually hunts for mushrooms and then trades them to local restaurants for free meals.  Not a bad arrangment if you ask me!
