Nature Photography Lesson

Come and spend the morning and learn about the exciting world of nature photography. Discover some of the great subject matter that the refuge has to offer. We will discuss techniques for photographing landscapes, animals, and flowers. The program will cover some of the basics of composition, light, and subject matter. We will start in the classroom, and then go out in the field to practice. The program will conclude with a question and answer session.

Who should attend: This session is geared as an entry-level program. Anyone interested in learning about nature photography.

Equipment needed:

  • Any type of camera
  • Sturdy footwear for hiking the trails
  • Sunscreen
  • Hat
