Paul Bunyan’s Rolling Dance Party

Oh Minnesota! Home of the Vikings, Prince, Scott Seekins… Zubaz?! Show YOUR love for both the great Land O’ Lakes AND the hippest form of transportation. We will embark on a costumed biking adventure, while jamming out to some sweet tunes. There will be plenty of stops for you to get your groove on, as well as S’mores cooked on bikes! Oh, and what party would be complete without a little KAROAKE?! That’s right, we will be doing karoake at our stops as well!

Dress up as Paul Bunyan, Babe the Blue Ox, a Viking, or your favorite Minnesota character! There will be 3 prizes awarded for the Costume Contest.

Categories for the contest are:

  • BEST PAUL BUNYAN (or Babe!)
  • BEST VIKING
  • BEST MINNESOTA CHARACTER (the more creative, the better!)

THIS IS A FREE EVENT! All welcome!

We will gather at 7pm on Saturday, August 25th in the Loring Park Picnic area. Feel free to come early and bring something to grill or share before the ride. We will be roasting marshmallows over the MOAB! The ride ends at 10pm. To request music for the ride or to reserve your Karaoke song, email us at paulbunyanparty@gmail.com. More details TBA.

This ride will be done in the style of no-haters, But with pancakes. this is not a pub crawl and not critical-mass its all about riding, dancing, eating, drinking from water bottles and enjoying each others company. you can expect a route similar to no-haters, a sound system not quite as good and pancakes. We hope you enjoy it.

*This event is produced by Tomahawk Tassels and Thinkjar.com, creator of THE MOAB bike. The MOAB is a not-for-profit bicycle-based art venue and community center.
