REVIEW & GIVEAWAY: A Pedal Pub Named Desire
I had the pleasure of attending The Brave New Workshop’s latest revue A PedalPub Named Desire: Love in Minnesota this past week! The gang is back with a new set of sketch comedy geared toward dating and romance along with favorites from their last production – A Snowplow Named Desire. My guest and I really enjoyed this show. I am a big fan of the Brave New Workshop and have loved every show they have ever produced. The latest is consistent with what the Brave New Workshop is known for. It’s adult sketch comedy that is goofy and silly with a touch of outrage, raciness and edge that gets just close enough to the line to be hilarious instead of offensive. Unlike prior Brave New Workshop productions, this show really has a finale. I thought the closing skit was outstanding!
