The Square Lake Film & Music Festival

The Square Lake Film & Music Festival is one of the best kept summer secrets of the upper Midwest, featuring Minnesota music, independent short, experimental and animated films. This is a rain or shine outdoor event. We show films in our hay barn-converted-to-theater during the transition time between bands.

The festival is located on a 25-acre farm near the beautiful St. Croix Valley and within a few miles of the scenic Gateway Bike Trail. Attendees are encouraged to bike to the festival and receive a steep ticket discount for doing so. Limited camping is available on site at no charge. Visit our website at www.squarelakefestival.com for more information.

As noted above, this is a rain or shine event and no refunds are given for poor weather conditions.

Bring your family! Children 12 and under are free.

This year’s musical line up includes The Cactus Blossoms, The Black Eyed Snakes, Frankie Lee, Mike Rosetto, Frankie Lee, The Owls, Saltee, David Huckfelt & Billy Sedlmayr and Lazy Scorcese. We also have an exciting film program planned for you!

Tickets are $35 but if you bike to the event, tickets are only $15 (but you must buy your ticket in advance)! Also, through July 31, save $5 with coupon code FACEBOOK.  There are group rides scheduled to leave from The Hub COOP so you don’t even need a map if you’re biking.
