Walker After Hours Preview Party…On Ice

Ok well I’m sure everyone in the Twin Cities is ready for summer but in order to survive living here one must embrace the cold, at least a little bit.  One suggestion for doing so is to attend the Walker After Hours Preview Party: On Ice, which is scheduled for January 28, 2011 from 9pm-midnight.  This indoor/outdoor event will feature cocktails, hot cocoa and complimentary hot dish appetizers from Wolfgang Puck.  This event will also celebrate the opening of “Spectacular of Vernacular”, an art exhibit which “embraces the rustic, the folkloric, and the humbly homemade as well as the crass clash of street spectacle and commercial culture” or whatever that means.  I will find out and report back!

$20 for members (new members also get a free ticket for a guest), $30 for the general public
