It’s Fargo meets A Christmas Carol (without the wood chipper or the Cratchits). A Don’t Hug Me Christmas Carol, now in its fifth season, is the sequel to the smash hit musical comedy, Don’t Hug Me. On Christmas Eve in Bunyan Bay, Minn., the cantankerous bar owner Gunner Johnson gets in an argument with his wife, Clara, tells her he’s skipping Christmas, and storms out to go snowmobiling across the lake. He falls through the ice on his snowmachine and goes into a coma. He then comes back to the bar in his dream, where he’s visited by the famous folk legend, Sven Yorgensen, who plays the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future. Sven takes Gunner on a journey similar to Dickens’ A Christmas Carol … only very different.
